From January 2012 to November 2014, CISDOMA carried out the project “Building a Model for Community Participation in the Planning Process for the Construction of Local Social Welfare Works,” funded by the World Bank. With a total value of 28,919 US$, the project was implemented to enhance the awareness and capacity of the community to participate in the planning process and budget expenditure for the construction of local social welfare works. Concurrently, the project aimed to promote transparency and accountability, contributing to the reduction of corruption. CISDOMA carried out the following activities:

  • Enhancing the awareness and capacity of the community to participate in the planning process and budget expenditure for the construction of local social welfare works through workshops, Training of Trainers (ToT), and educational materials;
  • Piloting a model for renovating village cultural houses or other social works (depending on the proposals of the project communes) using a participatory approach, thereby promoting transparency and accountability and contributing to the reduction of corruption.
