The project is funded by Bread for the World (BftW) and Action on Poverty (AOP) in Vietnam. It was approved for implementation by the Lai Chau Provincial People’s Committee according to Decision 1644/QD-UBND on December 13, 2022. The project aims to achieve two objectives: i) To improve the economic, social, and environmental benefits for ethnic minority households through the adoption of agro-ecological solutions, community-based tourism, and village savings and loan associations (VSLA); ii) To ensure that the solutions supported by the project are recognized and integrated by local authorities into the local socio-economic development plans for wider replication.
