From 2020 to 2022, the Institute for Socio-Economic Development of Rural and Mountainous Areas (CISDOMA) and the People’s Committee of Que Phong District successfully coordinated the implementation of the project “Enhancing Legal Knowledge and Providing Legal Support to Ensure Land Equality Rights for Ethnic Minority Women.” The project, funded by the INKOTA organization (Federal Republic of Germany), was implemented across 13 communes and towns in the district. Building on the success of this project, CISDOMA and the People’s Committee of Que Phong District developed a new project titled “Enhancing Income and Promoting Gender Equality for Ethnic Minorities in Que Phong District, Nghe An Province.” The project aims to support ethnic minority women in three communes—Nam Nhoong, Cam Muon, and Tien Phong in Que Phong District—to actively participate in the management and use of land, enhancing the efficiency of agricultural and forestry production and developing household economies. The INKOTA organization has committed to funding the project from April 2023 to December 2026.
The project was approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs with Decision No. 681 on August 28, 2023.
The total project budget is 350,852 EUR
