Sub-project: “Thai Giang Pho Tourist Agriculture Village – Bac Ha Flower Valley” of the program: Gender-Responsive Equitable Agriculture and Tourism (GREAT) (6/2019 – 6/2020)

The Gender-Responsive Equitable Agriculture and Tourism (GREAT) is to promote gender equality and women’s economic empowerment, with a specific focus on ethnic minority women. The project “Thai Giang Pho Tourist Agriculture Village – Bac Ha Flower Valley” is a sub-project of the program. The project is

1) To expand the investment and improve the business capacity of Viet Tu to attract tourists to visit Bac Ha flower valley.

2) To strengthen the collaboration between Viet Tu and the local community in responsible agri-tourism, contributing to increase the company’s revenue and profit.

In this project, Consultative Institute for Socio-Economic Development of Rural and Mountainous Areas (CISDOMA) provides technical advices for Viet Tu and collaborates closely with Viet Tu to organize activities.

Timeline: June 2019 – June 2020
